We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane Team. The Principal Engineer will support and ensure the successful delivery of projects through the provision of specialist technical expertise, leadership, and client relationships. You will be instrumental in guiding project teams, maintaining high technical standards, and fostering strong client connections.

- A technical problem-solver with demonstrated experience in a range of structural projects
- Enthusiastic about working in multi-disciplinary teams in a national team format.

- The role is located in Brisbane.
What You Bring:
- Relevant qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline
- Relevant professional registrations including Chartered Professional Engineer status with Engineers Australia. RPEQ Essential
- 15+ years of professional experience in Structural Engineering, ideally within a consulting environment.
- A proactiveness to seek new business opportunities
- Strong ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
What You'll Do:
- Apply specialist technical expertise on allocated projects
- Lead project teams, including projects with multiple stakeholders and subconsultant involvement
- Provide internal advice and input on projects within required timeframes
- Interpret project documents, client briefs, proposed methodologies and project deliverables to identify the complexities and interdependencies of multiple issues and to formulate strategies and action plans to produce an outcome that meets agreed outcomes and client requirement
- Communicate technical expectations to clients and project leaders
- Maintain awareness of, and contribute to, technical developments and innovations within appropriate industry and incorporate these where appropriate
- Keep up to date with changes in Standards and Legislation
