Our client is an expanding environmental, design engineering and project management group specialising in water infrastructure, mining, minerals, and metals. With years of experience, they excel in mining and processing industries and related infrastructure solutions. Offices span Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.
You will play a pivotal role in the structural design of process plants and associated mining infrastructure, working alongside a talented, multi-disciplined engineering and design team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Structural design of materials handling and processing facility structures including conveyors, bins, and process buildings.
• Develop cost-effective designs tailored to project requirements and client needs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the drafting team, overseeing the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs.
• Prepare schedules for design work, ensuring timely project execution.
• Offer high-level technical support for all Structural Engineering aspects as required.
• Foster and maintain relationships with multidisciplinary team, clients, and contractors.
• Lead projects/teams, working deliver exceptional client outcomes ensuring repeat business.
About You:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, with demonstrated design experience in resources processing or mining.
• Proficiency in a variety structural analysis software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in leading projects/teams.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and unwavering commitment to safety.
