Big Image Australia is a well-established and fast-growing company specialising in digitally printed signage for the trade. Using best in class technology, our goal is to provide the highest quality products with excellent customer service to those in the sign and display industry. We are located in Green Fields South Australia and are seeking the right candidate to fill this position.

Role Overview

Working within an experienced team, you would be responsible for operating and maintaining our digital cutting system.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Operate a Gerber CNC cutting table (equivalent Zund or Esko) and other finishing equipment as required.
• Routing acrylic, aluminum and pvc products. 
• Laser cutting acrylic and polyester fabrics. 
• Cut/crease corrugated boards.
• Ensure the machinery is kept in good order and perform regular preventative maintenance.
• Producing jobs to specifications provided.
• Meeting quality control guidelines.
• Working cooperatively with production manager, team members, clients, and suppliers to ensure high customer service standards.
• Monitoring production timelines to meet deadlines.

• Willingness to learn and have a proactive attitude.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience with other digital cutters is a plus (Zund, Esko etc).
• The ability to work independently and as part of an efficient team.
• Substantial time management skills.
• Reliable and prepared to undertake occasional overtime.
