Print Finishing Operator

Utilizing a finishing machine, you will be responsible for processing and quality inspecting printed labels in order to achieve targets and timeframes for our customers.  You will be required to accommodate a flexible schedule, covering rotating shifts across different time frames. Duties include:

• Machine setup (loading print rolls, feeding through the machine & setting up of the blades & slicers)
• Record data on basic machine operations statistics using a PC computer. 
• Monitor & maintain the finishing machine with a strong safety focus.

• Mechanically aptitude (preferred)
• Experience working in manufacturing industry, especially with labels (preferred but not essential as on the job training is provided) 
• Certificate II qualification in Printing or similar field (preferred but not essential)
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to discern all colors (no color vision concerns).
• Physically able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Does not suffer from motion sickness.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• High regard for safety and a proactive, eager learner.
