SalaryAs a Print Finishing Specialist, you will be a pivotal part of our printing operations, responsible for ensuring that printed materials meet quality standards and are ready for distribution. Operating a variety of finishing equipment, your expertise will contribute to the delivery of high-quality printed products to our clients.
JOB DUTIES
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment to ensure smooth workflow.
• Review job orders and specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Perform precise cutting and trimming of printed materials.
• Load and unload printed items onto drying racks, following production schedules.
• Fold and crease printed materials according to specified dimensions.
• Inspect finished products for quality defects, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and finishing details.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Conduct binding operations using various techniques.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow effectively.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the printing industry.
• Minimum Certificate III qualification in Printing or related field.
• Printing Proficiency in operating finishing equipment, such as guillotine cutters, folding machines, and binding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in finished products.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to printing operations.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.
