What You’ll Do As a Privacy Data Specialist, you will be an integral member of our Group Privacy & Customer Trust Team. Your role will involve delivering privacy and customer trust solutions with a strong focus on privacy technology. Key responsibilities include:
- Embedding Privacy Frameworks: Integrate key components of the Privacy+ Framework into systems, processes, and governance, in collaboration with Privacy, Cyber, IT, Technology, and Data Governance teams.
- Strategic Priorities: Execute foundational and strategic initiatives to advance our Privacy & Customer Trust maturity, aiming to position us as a privacy leader.
- Governance Enhancement: Develop best practice systems and processes for privacy governance, including PIAs, Incident Management, Data Governance, and Privacy Risk and Policy Development initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work with Legal teams to recommend, develop, and support best practices in response to evolving privacy legislation and regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization to influence and implement effective privacy and data ethics capabilities.
- Risk Assessment: Ability to accurately rate Privacy and Data Ethics risks in line with internal risk and privacy frameworks.
- Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice on privacy-related obligations and other relevant non-legal considerations.
- Strategic Support: Contribute to the strategic direction for privacy uplift across the organization.
- Policy Development: Develop key policies, procedures, and guidelines for privacy.
- Risk Management: Continue to advance Privacy Risk Management initiatives.
- Compliance Best Practices: Support the integration of Spam Act compliance best practices and standards.
- Privacy Advice: Act as an escalation point for PIAs and privacy advice across the organization.

$140K - $160K + Super + Bonus
