Private Practice - Clinical Or General Psychologist

If you are a registered Clinical or General Psychologist, we have an opportunity for you to come on-board as a Contractor on a part time basis (1-2 full days per week). Coast Psychology has a high attendance rate and rescheduled appointments are almost always filled.We are seeking an experienced, highly professional and warm psychologist to provide individual therapy. Therapy is offered to adults and adolescents 16 years and over within a small Private Practice through the Medicare Better Access Initiative and private pay.Responsibilities and duties:

• Provide mental health assessments and interventions for individuals in a Private Practice setting
• Prepare written reports of a high standard relating to client matters (case notes, GP letters, referrals, and reviews)
• Provide telehealth sessions as required, most sessions will be in person in clinic

Qualifications, experience and skills:

• General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• Significant knowledge, skills and experience in the application of evidence based clinical practices and processes appropriate to working with young people, adults, couples and families experiencing complex mental health issues
• Ability to work collaboratively and skilled in open communication
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Interest in ongoing professional development
• Excellent self-management and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritise record-keeping
