A rare opportunity has opened to join Dr Alison Grimaldi’s team at PhysioTec Physiotherapy, Tarragindi.
Our clinical team has special interests and skills in hip and lower limb conditions, dance, hypermobility, running and bike fit assessments, strength and conditioning, Pilates, exercise therapy and the use of real time ultrasound for specific muscle assessment and training. We also encourage and foster each staff member’s special interest areas.
The successful applicant will be provided with induction training and ongoing group and individual mentoring. We’ll support you in your professional development journey. Communication skills and enthusiasm to learn are the key criteria we are looking for in applicants. AHPRA registration required.
Free membership to Dr Alison Grimaldi’s Hip Academy is included, with additional on-site training and opportunity to attend live courses at no cost. Training will also include the use of real time ultrasound for assessment and muscle retraining around the trunk and peripheral joints. Skills will also be developed in our key interest areas and yours.
Continuing professional development training includes whole group in-service, early career training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, co-treatment opportunities, and additional informal 'help-sessions', all within a friendly team environment.

Responsibilities
Provide assessment and rehabilitation for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, in a Private Practice environment.
Run group exercise classes, using Pilates & basic gym equipment (Training can be provided).
Develop treatment plans around patient goals and physical impairments, as determined during initial assessment.
Develop exercise programs via Physitrack in a timely manner.
Complete patient notes and communication in a timely manner.
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing advancement of skills and knowledge.
Qualifications/Skills
Physiotherapy Qualification, Registered with AHPRA
Excellent communication skills
Exercise prescription skills
Pilates or Group Exercise skills an advantage
Manual therapy skills
Interests in any of the following an advantage: hip/lower limb conditions, dance, hypermobility, Women's health
