Proactive Service Team Lead

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Proactive Service Team Lead will assume responsibility for guiding, mentoring, and assisting the Proactive Services Team in providing cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management services for a single store or multiple stores.

Description

In this dynamic and varied role, Located in Northbridge, NSW you will lead a team while actively participating in the delivery of essential services, including the maintenance of trolley availability, safety, food safety, cleaning, hygiene, and waste management throughout the week.

As the central point of contact for Store Managers in case of escalation, your leadership is essential for directing the Proactive Services team and upholding a uniform presence in your store. Additionally, you will collaborate harmoniously with other store departments to cultivate a positive experience for all team members and customers.

This will ultimately be achieved by:

• Creating effective work schedules/rosters and ensuring your team's punctuality.
• Managing the procurement of all necessary supplies for your stores while staying within budgetary limits.
• Evaluate team members based on key metrics, offering valuable and constructive feedback to acknowledge their strengths and identify areas for development for growth opportunities.
• Foster and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including department managers, customers and local community members.

*The position is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) across Monday-Sunday, with requirements to work 1 early shift (generally commencing around 5am), 1 late shift (finishing around 10pm). A typical working week would be Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday -Thursday.

Profile

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will have:

• A valid Australian driver's licence (Green P's or full licence)
• A keen eye for cleanliness and attention to details
• Experience in leadership/management
• Confidence to engage and form partnerships with Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to synchronise schedules & deadlines.
• Organisational skills to ensure your team always has the necessary equipment and consumables needed to work safely and effectively.
• Be comfortable working within a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct, etc.)
• Be at ease with the inclusion of cleaning responsibilities as part of the role, such as shop floor, fridges, freezers, carparks, etc.
• Experience in a leadership capacity or aspects of leadership (desirable)
