The role The Process and Odour Engineer will be responsible to deliver planning projects within the Treatment Plants Planning team. You will be required to assist with the development of master plan, concept and functional scoping, along with business case development for our Water Recycling Plants and sewer network improvements within our catchments. Key Responsibilities will be, but not limited to; Assist with carrying out planning activities for our Water Recycling Plants Develop future capital and operating cost needs for Pricing Submissions Contribute to and maintain Asset Management Plans Provide expert technical guidance for Process and Odour upgrade works Investigate, monitor and identify improvements for odour issues in the sewer network and Water Recycling Plants. Work with capital delivery partners, by preparing RFQs and supporting documentation, obtaining business case approvals and providing process engineering support Who are you? To be successful in this position, you will have; A Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably either in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering with process major. Solid previous experience in sewage treatment, and preferable to have odour management experience Highly developed analytical skills with a passion for solving complex problems Ability to identify, and mitigate potential risks to projects and South East Water Clear customer focus and strong stakeholder management, internal and external Ability to understand and write clear, unambiguous technical reports, business cases, project briefs, board papers, workshop reports, meeting minutes. Undertake complex technical work with a high level of autonomy, High level of verbal communication skills to inform, influence and exchange knowledge Plan and manage projects from inception to completion.
