THE ROLE
Applications are sought from experienced Process Engineers to join the team at Leichhardt.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the Technical Services Manager and the Company and its operations and assisting with production planning, maintenance planning and process control. There will be some requirements to travel to site for this role.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
Integrated planning
- Production planning: liaise with key stakeholders across all business units in the development and tracking of production plans. Stock accounting and forecast planning: support stock measurement and reporting that meets both operational and financial needs
Operational Productivity and Quality Control
- Work independently and collaboratively across multiple functional areas and stakeholders; providing leadership in the development and maintenance of production and quality control systems for the solar salt and gypsum operation.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant technical discipline, for example mining engineering, metallurgy, chemical engineering, chemistry, or geochemistry.
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in the mining industry in a similar role.
- A good level of technical competency and ability to think strategically and innovatively and stay attuned to industry developments.
- A keen interest in identifying technical and innovative solutions to drive cost performance.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including report writing and the ability to present effectively.
- An unwavering commitment to health, safety, security, environmental, community and ethical standards.
