Working Conditions and Location
Live locally and go home every single day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO. We are only 130kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.
Working 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster you will have plenty of time to enjoy your out-of-work interests.
What you will be doing
As a Maintenance Technician with Newmont working in the ‘Dry Plant’ section of Boddington Gold Processing Plant, you will be required to monitor and maintain equipment to ensure we achieve safe production targets
The major components of the Dry Plant are listed below and all process plant maintenance personnel are required to maintain and assist in these areas as required.
-Conveyors
-Feeders
-Primary & Secondary Crushing
-High Pressure Grinding Rolls
-Screening
-Shutdown Supervision
-Preventative Maintenance inspections in all areas
-Operation of plant equipment (EWP/Forklift/Overhead crane/Dogging/Basic Rigging/Hiab)
Who you are
To be successful for this role you will have the following:
-Trade Certificate
-Post trade experience in large mineral process operations
-Computer skills and exposure to CMMS (SAP preferred)
-High Risk Licences: forklift, elevated work platform, dogging/rigging (preferred)
-Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights (preferred)
-Current "C" class drivers licence.
