Location: Western Hub - Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples and Fortescue's Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

Roster: 7D7N14R or 14D14R - FIFO ex Perth or Busselton.

Fortescue is seeking experienced Fixed Plant Process Operators to join our dynamic team at the Western Hub. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in the efficient operation and maintenance of our ore processing plants and stockyards, ensuring the achievement of production targets and adherence to high safety standards.

• Efficiently operate ore processing plants, including large crushing and screening systems, MMD sizers, cone crushing circuits, and associated conveying systems.
• Perform general maintenance of crushing plants and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Liaise regularly with management to communicate production progress and ensure target achievement.
• Operate stackers, reclaimers, and manage stockpiles effectively.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, contributing to team goals and supporting colleagues.

• Demonstrate a high commitment to safety standards and values.
• Show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Working at Heights qualification is desirable.
• Proven experience operating large crushing, screening, and processing plants, including:
  • MMD sizers and cone crushing circuits.
  • Associated plant components and conveying systems.
• Experience with operating systems such as SCADA, Citect, Simplicity, and Meridian.
• Familiarity with stacker and reclaimer operations and stockpile management is advantageous.
• Experience in operating machinery such as forklifts, telehandlers, and similar equipment.
