Form of workThe team at Edna May are seeking a Process Technician to join the team. Ideally, we are looking for you to have strengths across the Plant & Mill. This opportunity does offer growth within those areas and on different machinery.
The role is offered on an 8/6/7/7 roster BIBO from Perth to Westonia. The Edna May mill is a 2.9 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) conventional CIL gold plant comprising of 2 stage crushing, SAG and Ball mill, gravity circuit and leach. 50% of Edna May gold is recovered via the gravity circuit. Total recovery is around 93%.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role will:
- Safely operate the plant by controlling, monitoring, adjusting, fixing, recording, and cleaning the process plant, mill and
- Achieve production targets through efficient use of resources to maximise reagent and consumable usage.
- Continuously evaluate the performance of the plant against operating targets and make modifications and changes to improve or rectify concerns as they occur.
- Assess risks and identify hazards tasks to achieve the safe operation of all sections of the Processing Plant.
- Routinely inspect plant equipment, report and repair any faults.
- Operate mobile equipment (Loader or Forklift) to assist with housekeeping and reagent movement around the Processing area.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we would like to see;
- High Risk Work licence (LF) and nationally accredited training in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
- Metalliferous Mining (Processing) training.
- Nationally accredited IT Loader and Bobcat training.
- Exposure to Process Control Systems ideally from a gold processing environment.
- A West Australian C class driver’s license (manual) and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance purposes.
