As part of our rapid growth trajectory, we are seeking experienced process operators to join our processing team. Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you will be involved in all aspects of production and operations related to the processing plants and non-process infrastructure.
Build new skills and grow your career. You will be supported with training and up-skilling to build competencies and multi-skill across all process operator duties in our mineral separating plant (MSP) and wet concentration plant (WCP).
This is a site-based role at our newly built Coburn plant near Shark Bay, WA. Working on a 2:1 roster this role will be DIDO from the Gascoyne region or FIFO from Perth.
Your role
- Embrace and comply with all safety systems, policies and procedures
- Undertake workplace inspections and audits
- Report all hazards and incidents and support investigations and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance to all operating licences conditions
- Follow procedures and policies for the safe and efficient operation of the processing plants and associated infrastructure
- Proactively engage with all stakeholders eg safety, environment, maintenance and technical to ensure performance of processing plants is optimised
- Undertake and successfully complete training including gaining competencies to be multiskilled across all process operator duties within processing plants and associated infrastructure
- Deputise for Control Room Operator as required
- Workplace flexibility to cover Operator tasks
- All aspects of production and operations related to the processing plants and non-process infrastructure
About you
- Demonstrated process operator experience at a minerals processing plant
- Prior experience in plant commissioning and/or plant ramp up valued
- Basic familiarity with MS office suite of applications
- Driver's license essential
Other certifications/ tickets valued:
- Experience in following permit to work and plant isolation procedures
- Cert III in Process Plant Operations
- FEL Operator ticket, Forklift ticket
- Working from Heights / Confined Space certified
