About The Role:
Our respective client is on the lookout for two individuals to join their operations team in Baulkham Hills, NSW, Australia. One role requires a combination of Process Worker and Materials Handler (with a Forklift Licence), while the other is for a Process Workeronly. These positions offer casual employment for 2-3 months with the potential to become permanent. As a Process Worker and/or Material Handler, you'll be essential in replenishing materials for the production team, operating forklifts, and preparing and assembling component materials to produce complete safety products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble materials to produce quality safety products according to documented work instructions.
- Ensure that assembled products meet acceptable quality standards and specifications.
- Test the quality of finished products and address any defects.
- Maintain consistent labelling and packaging of completed materials.
- Complete all necessary documents associated with the production process.
- Conduct pad printing branding of hard hats and caps.
- Set up and maintain work areas, including structuring raw materials, assembly areas, and finished products.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for stock replenishment and conduct stock takes and cycle counts as required.
Key Requirements:
- Reliable, committed, and punctual attitude.
- Strong focus on safety.
- Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools.
- Forklift license.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in visually monitoring products and rectifying defects.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate proficiently in English.
- Multitasking capabilities, strong organizational skills, basic technology skills, and understanding of health and safety practices.
