This business is a market leading paint supplier to AUS, NZ, UK, USA & Asia. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Factory Hand interested in pursuing a career in the paint industry moving into colour matching and batching.
This role is a Temp – Perm ongoing role working Monday to Friday 7am – 3.20pm with the potential of becoming a permanent full-time position after 6-months
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Create product base and colour batches
- Fill paint into buckets, then label and pack them onto pallets
- Performing stock take on a regular basis
- Test paint colour and quality daily
- Follow formulas and weigh out the ingredients for each batch
- Complete daily production documents to keep batch records
Experience & Qualifications
- Operation of a Forklift licence
- Colour matching experience
- Paint manufacturing and machine operations experience
- Multitask with attention to detail
- Able to perform manual handling tasks exceeding 25kgs
