A Northside Regional Council is seeking suitable candidates to fill a Procurement Assistant role.
What your role will look like:
- Assistant in Administrative & Business support processes for the Corporate Procurement team
- Purchase order & invoice processing
- Support the integrity and compliance of supplier and contract records
- Assist with developing and implementing processes to help efficient and effective data analysis
- Assist the training team in developing the delivery of the procurement training systems
- Data Entry to maintain Council's supplier Masterfile
- Inbound and outbound communications
- Previous experience within a Local Government or Corporate environment is preferred.
- Experience in Accounts Payable or Purchasing is also highly regarded
- Sound organisational, processing, & Data Entry skills.
- Great communication including written, verbal & presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong customer service
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word
- Ability to work with positivity in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

- 6 month contract ( that may lead to ongoing work)
- $35.83 p/h + Super
- Monday to Friday roster
- Hours of work 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
