Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Division is seeking leaders with policy development and advice experience, to fill vacancies in our teams responsible for policies related to finance, assurance, risk, procurement and contract management. Skills and acumen in any of these areas will be highly regarded.
Assistant Directors within the Division play a critical role in driving innovation, contributing to and implementing the agency’s strategic direction.
We are looking for people who are energetic critical thinkers who thrive on a challenge and have strong leadership and management skills.
The CFO Division currently has vacancies for people with experience and skills in some, or all, of the following areas:
Procurement and Contract Management Policies
- Providing advice on procurement projects with large, complex and/or strategic requirements.
- Developing and effectively communicating procurement and contract management policies and guidance.
- Interpreting and advising on legal, governance or policy frameworks.
- Providing advice on internal financial policies and frameworks, the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act (PGPA Act) and the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework.
- Experience in developing and effectively communicating agency financial policies and guidance.
- Interpreting and advising on legal, governance or policy frameworks.
- Providing advice on internal administered program assurance and risk policies and frameworks, as well as the PGPA Act and the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework.
- Experience in developing and effectively communicating internal administered program assurance and guidance.
- Interpreting and advising on legal, governance or policy frameworks.

Essential Requirements:
Security clearance: Baseline (or ability to obtain and maintain).
Desirable Qualifications:
Certificate IV or higher in a relevant discipline.
