Procurement Business Partner
As the Procurement Business Partner, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of sourcing and category management activities and processes within a centre-led model in line with organisational and procurement requirements that provides compliance and governance, delivers value, and manages key risks for Horizon Power.

You will support the Sourcing and Categories Manager with the on-going management of procurement and supply chain projects.

Your role will include:

• Facilitate all strategic works, high risk or procurement activities that exceed $1M in total contract value excluding energy related agreements.
• Provide advisory services to support all other engagement and responsible for all queries and service request for the Divisions. This includes supporting procurement and contract management activities including exemptions, development of contract management documents, variations, annual reviews, claims and disputes and contract close outs. 
• Responsible for the procurement pipeline for current and future works for the Division. 
• Monitors spend insight and benchmarking against business objectives and key performance indicators and work closely with Contract Managers and Stakeholders to maximize the value of allocated contracts for the Division.
• Responsible for maintaining the Procurement and Supplier Information System (PRISM) for the Division. 
• Engage regularly with Contract Managers and Stakeholders to establish collaborative working relationships that are focused on identifying continuous improvement opportunities. 
• Responsible for end-to-end supplier management including ensuring that relationships with key strategic suppliers are managed in accordance with the Horizon Power Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Framework.

You will have:

• Degree and or professional qualification in business, procurement, supply chain, law, economics, commerce, or an equivalent discipline is essential.
• Procurement knowledge particularly from a Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Management perspective
• Project management skills including how to effectively schedule, prioritise and address risks and issues.
• Relationship management skills and ability to develop relationships with variety of stakeholders (internal and external) and ability to effect change within a team, across a peer group and the wider business.
• Understanding of how procurement operates to manage enterprise value and risk management outcomes effectively and effectively.
