Procurement Officer

Our client is a global technology leader in the field of mobile technology and home appliances, with a constant focus on innovation. Based in Sydney Olympic Park, this role is ideal for a Procurement professional with expertise in a marketing environment. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is driven by results, looking to develop their procurement experience with a global brand.The RoleAs the procurement project lead, you will be responsible for the evaluation, risk analysis and negotiations with various vendors to provide maximum business efficiency at a cost-effective rate.Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out the commercial evaluation, risk analysis and lead negotiation with vendors
• Analyse past and predicted financial data to compare past spend with proposed vendor spend
• General reporting into the procurement manager on outcomes and project status updates.
• Draft and develop terms and conditions sheets with external parties.
• Design and implement financial templated that measure deliverables, charge rates and outcomes.
• Use financial modelling and analysis to develop cost saving strategies and ensure projects are within budget.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in project management are desired
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Able to build relationships and communication with internal teams and external vendors
• Able to work under a deadline
• A positive and can do attitude.
