Pay rate: $677.24 - $745.03 per day + super
This role is required to support major projects and a large volume of sourcing requests in the pipeline.
Key accountabilities:
- Leads and directs the provision of procurement services, including procurement planning, development, sourcing, contract, and risk management activities
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, systems and performance management frameworks for all procurement related activity
- Develop and implement complex procurement plans and strategies
- Partner with stakeholders to develop innovative supply strategies that include outcomes to support our Reconciliation Action Plan and ESG program, establish supply arrangements, lead high-level negotiations and handover contracts effectively
- Lead and manage cross-functional procurement teams to successfully deliver procurement business plans and achieve optimal outcomes from procurement activity;
- Ensure sourcing activities and related data are captured and managed in the required systems
- Apply procurement governance and risk management framework to monitor compliance of procurement activity and performance, manage risk and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of processes, systems, tools, templates and ways of working.
- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications
- Professional procurement qualification (e.g. MCIPS)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with the business to develop effective procurement strategies, lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts across the lifecycle
- Experience with ERP systems, including source-to-contract and procure-to-pay
- Please note: candidates must be based in NSW and willing to attend Parramatta office in a hybrid office/WFH arrangement
