Randstad has partnered with a NSW government agency for a full time permanent opportunity. The role is a Procurement Specialist, reporting to the Procurement Business partner.
Your new role as Procurement Specialist:
The Procurement Specialist offers specialised guidance in procurement and aids stakeholders in strategising, developing, sourcing, and overseeing procurement processes to efficiently achieve organisational and business goals. The Procurement Specialist oversees the entire strategic procurement process, ensuring cost-effective outcomes in procuring allocated materials and services for the designated business unit.
About you:
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience
Knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process
Proven experience in effective negotiations
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of procurement frameworks and legal principles
Effective influencing and relationship-building abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
