Procurement Support Officer
Hours: 38 Hours per week, temporary contract with hybrid arrangement
Contract Length: Temporary contract - ASAP Start, 3-month contract
Salary: $42.28 per hour + super
Location: Local Council Western Suburbs

Public Sector People, partnering with our esteemed client, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Support Officer to join their dynamic team in the Western Suburbs. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the local community and work within a forward-thinking local council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tender Processes: Administer tender processes, contract awards, and contract creation (onboarding).
  • Contract Development: Ensure effective administration in the development of contracts and agreements.
  • Data Management: Collect and enter procurement data, maintaining a high standard of quality and integrity.
  • Tender Monitoring: Assist in advertising, closing, and monitoring the progress of tender documents.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the public sector or a large to mid-scale entity.
  • Proficiency in contracting and/or procurement management systems and processes.
  • A meticulous approach to data management and integrity.
