As the final stage of the product quality gate, the Product and Test Engineering team is responsible for device performance testing, analysis, characterisation and optimisation at the wafer, package and evaluation board levels. We also provide valuable support to the Optical R&D test development of the DOE.
When you join our team, as the Product and Test Engineer you will be responsible for working alongside other Engineers to manage the device optical/electrical testing of our product. You will undertake a critical role that is focused on executing UVLED product evaluation, validation, qualification and characterization and supporting LED product tests at all levels (wafer, die, unit, board). This is a highly collaborative role that supports research, development, and industrialization of new compound semiconductor products.
Key responsibilities of this technical role include:
- Following work instructions and DOE test requirements, daily operates advanced test equipment/system to independently carry out the UV optical/electrical measurement.
- Maintaining optical/electrical test instruments including periodic check, calibration, and Test system trouble shooting/problem solving.
- Creating/improving/maintaining UVLED product test SOP and technical documents/reports to meet technology specifications and quality requirements.
- Assisting senior engineers to support automation test software development / improvement and validation/release.
- Collaborating with team precisely analyse all different levels' test data to understand UV LED product performance and maximize contribute to product development / improvement.
- Degree qualified in Optical and/or Electronic Engineering, Physics, Since or similar field.
- Hands-on experience skills of operating optics, electrics, scientific, or similar test instruments/equipment to independently conduct the semiconductor product test DOE/project.
- Basic understanding of LabVIEW or similar test automation language SW program concept/structure and ability to learn how to read/modify/improve test program.
- Know how to use EXCEL functions for data analyzing and be able to create automation scripts/formula for formal data report.
- A proactive, analytical, and logical engineering mind, with a keen eye for detail.
- Be practical, mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and a good team player who is able to work effectively with others with good communication and interpersonal skills.
