Now, let's bring focus to the role - Product Designer
What you bring to the team:
- A genuine passion for product design - staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices & emerging technologies to continuously improve your approach to design
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Sketch, Figma) and prototyping tools
- Knowledge of UI/UX design best practices and accessibility guidelines
- User research experience (e.g., surveys, interviews, user testing)
- Understanding of customer-centric design and workshopping experience with a diverse range of audiences
- A proactive attitude to identifying and solving user problems
- Keen to learn and understand the unique needs of the screen industry
- Good to have - Experience working as part of product and/or agile teams
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Design: This is a non-negotiable ask from this role. You will own the Design piece of the puzzle. You’re a confident designer who is comfortable challenging the status quo and asking the right questions to push boundaries.
- Product Design: Create comprehensive design deliverables including wireframes, user personas, user journeys, and high-fidelity designs using a variety of design tools.
- Design Systems: Consume, Contribute and Maintain design systems to ensure consistency across our portfolio of applications.
- Visual Design: Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that enhance user experience for both external and internal customers while ensuring design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
- User Research: Drive research with internal and external users, prototype, validate, define and deliver using design-led thinking
- Collaboration: You are the piece that will complete our triad of design-product-engineering led teams, collaborate with your triad and stream members to have healthy outcomes.
- Branding guidelines: You will take charge of setting the tone for the product and website’s brand identity. You will play a key role in helping us define our future brand identity and feeding that brand through our website and products

- We are looking for a mid-level designer (4 - 6 years)

- This is a HYBRID role, that requires you to stay available in the office for 2 days.
How your 30/60/90 day journey will look like:
- The Head of Product will be your first point of support.
- In the first 30 days, you will familiarise yourself with the business and domain. You will have a great onboarding buddy to support you during this stage.
- Get to know your team and give yourself the time to settle in the new place
- Also, learn about the design choices we made for the transformation
- From 30 days onwards, you will have built a solid foundation on which the projects and transformation will be taken forward.
- You will work closely with your triad to add value to current projects while gathering the context of future roadmap.
- Pick a small project that you would like to drive, and set your own goals.
- From 60 days onwards, you will have the full support of the team to drive design initiatives
