We're REA
REA Group (https://www.rea-group.com/about-us/about-rea-group/) is not your average digital business. From humble beginnings in a garage in Melbourne's east in 1995, we have grown into a leading global digital business, specialising in property.

Our people are the key to our success. At the heart of everything we do, is a thriving culture centred around high performance and care. We are purpose driven and collaborative, which drives innovation and our ability to make a real impact. As such, we're proud to be named in Australia's “Top 5” Best Workplaces two years in a row, as well as being recognised as a Best Workplace for Women.
Where the team fits in
The Product Manager for Data Science and Insights sits within the PropTrack Data Science squad offering valuable data products to both external and internal customers.
The squads in the Data Science and Analytics Portfolio work together to deliver best in class solutions in valuations and market trends using AI.
Data Science & Analytics plays a crucial role in REA and PropTrack's property ecosystem through the development of the automated valuation model (AVM) that predicts the value of all properties in Australia. Additionally, the Home Price Index provides visibility of home price movements around Australia over time. The Propensity suite of models assist with acquisition, retention and nurturing activities for properties that are likely to list, sell or refinance. These models are used in products within Customer and Consumer segments and attract significant media and economics attention. The team has ambitions to create many new property market models and insights to change the way the world experiences property.
A unique group of team members with expertise across data science, machine learning, data engineering, and data analytics work together to bring this all to life.
