Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager - Roadside Assistance who will be responsible for driving the development and execution of our product propositions for the B2B or consumer segments.
You will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering our product offerings, including packaging and pricing, in line with our objectives and underpinned by customer and market insight. A key aspect of the role is to drive the development of our roadside proposition and other mobility services, through a customer centred design test and learn approach, and developing the go to market strategy including pricing and acquisition of the proposition.
The role offers the flexibility to work from home and across all offices with attendance at our Sydney Olympic Park and Sydney CBD offices as agreed and required for the role.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Overall, driving product, pricing and proposition decision-making for NRMA roadside for the B2B or consumer segments
- Monitoring and analysing key performance metrics to evaluate the success and impact of product propositions
- Identifying areas for improvement and optimisation, and implement strategies to enhance product performance and profitability
- Monitoring and assessing market trends and competitor movements. Understand the competitor landscape and environment
- Generating customer/business insights. Understand business behaviours and trends through data insights, and market segmentation
- Modelling various pricing options to determine the right pricing approach during the product lifecycle
- Understanding the product mix, margin and costs and how this impacts the pricing structure and customer lifetime profitability and identify changes
- Developing a pricing toolkit that will include tactical and strategic pricing options across the portfolio
- Developing and executing a strategic roadmap for product propositions, aligning them with the overall business objectives
- Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives, set goals, and establish timelines for proposition development and launch
- Co-designing concepts, and prioritise concepts based on desirability, feasibility and viability
- Validating GTM strategy with customers through test and learn prototype
- Producing high-level requirements and collaborate with the delivery team to produce detailed requirements and support the implementation of change
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, technology, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of product propositions
- Ensuring effective product launches and provide support to sales and marketing teams to drive customer adoption and revenue growth
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager, or similar role
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies
- Organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines, and a track record of successfully managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Demonstrated experience in developing and launching successful product propositions and/or product pricing strategies
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and achieving targets
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
