Job description

Who is Plenti?

Plenti is a fintech lender, providing faster, fairer loans by leveraging its smart technology. Plenti is a dynamic and innovative business that is growing strongly. By continuing to deliver better customer experiences, Plenti is taking market share from incumbent players in the personal lending, renewable energy, and automotive finance markets.

We are a fast moving and ambitious business that seeks to recruit smart and capable people, who can take ownership of their role to help the business thrive. With over 200 people based in Australia, Plenti is small enough so everyone can make a difference in their role, but we have very big ambitions as a team, as we go about building Australia’s best lender.

Plenti is a founder led business that launched in 2014 and is now listed on the ASX, with annual revenue of over $200 million and a loan portfolio of over $2 billion.

What's the opportunity?

You will work closely with the Personal Lending and Automotive Sales teams and relevant product and operations teams to develop and execute marketing and communications initiatives that promote our products to our customers. If you are someone who is a self-starter and passionate about what you do and looking for a broad and varied role then this could be the one for you!

What will you be doing?

You will be working closely with the Product Marketing manager supporting working across a broad spectrum of marketing activity to:

•Design, build and report on email campaigns for both consumer and partner audiences using HTML to customise a range of modules and templates. This is an important part of the role, so relevant skills, as well as a clear interest in furthering your knowledge in CRM and email marketing, is key.

•Update and create versions of marketing website pages via a WordPress style content management system.

•Manage competing priorities for various stakeholders with maturity, leveraging relationships to ensure respectful, efficient solutions.

•In collaboration with the Product Marketing manager, monitor and analyse Product Marketing performance metrics, including engagement rates, customer feedback, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

•Deliver a wide range of assets that adhere to brand guidelines eg: print ads, signage, social creative, •PowerPoint presentations, e-guides and flyers, ad banners, and merchandise.

•Assist BDMs and team leads to create collateral to effectively sell our loan products, including sales presentations, email templates, brochures and pricing sheets

You may not have formal experience in all of these areas. Your application should however highlight where you have developed these skills in your tertiary education or work experience. Let your eagerness to learn and foundational skills in marketing, design, basic coding, and creative communication shine through, and we'll take care of the rest.

This role will require the successful candidate to work in the Sydney office full time initially and then will have the ability to move to a hybrid arrangement.

What we are looking for…

• You are a marketing graduate or an ambitious digital marketer at the early stages in your career. You may not have years of work experience, but you will have solid skills with typical digital marketing tools like MS Office, Canva, WordPress style CMS, basic HTML for email module adjustment, Adobe Creative Suite.

• With a can-do attitude, you will be comfortable learning to take on many tasks, from campaign delivery to event support and marketing material design.

• You are a problem-solver with the ability to manage competing priorities, escalating risks and roadblocks, to ensure timely resolution of tasks: if you don't know the answer you'll keep investigating and connecting with colleagues to get to the source of the problem until it's fixed

• You will possess a high level of energy and an aptitude for technical digital tasks. You may not have hands-on experience with many of our tools, so you'll need to be fast to learn new skills alongside our experts to upskill quickly.

• You possess strong interpersonal skills: you are comfortable information sourcing and communicating appropriately about your tasks and priorities with team members across all levels of the business.

• You have a customer-centric, growth mindset: always thinking about how we can better interact with our customers and colleagues to be the best team at Plenti. If your day isn't filled, you'll go looking for someone to help or pursue an idea to make our work more effective or efficient.

• You are a team player and know how to bring a sense of fun to work every day. Of course, Marketing is the best team in the business - and we're always sought after to attend and assist with Plenti's social events!

What's life like at Plenti?
