Product Owner - Faster Payments, Payments as a ServiceSee yourself in our team:? The Payments as a Service (PaaS) Faster Payments squad is part of the Real Time Payments & PaaS Crew, whose purpose is to ?develop market leading, innovative and safe & resilient real time payments and value-add propositions for our customers. Payments as a Service (PaaS) is the API based service designed to provide access to payments and payments-aligned capabilities to business and institutional customers of CBA. The PaaS Faster Payments squad focuses on an API based payments proposition for internal and external customer use cases that are repeatable and robust with minimal configuration or customisation needed. You will work closely with multiple squads within and outside the Payments Domain as well as engaging and supporting business customers. The squad is also responsible for ensuring the service is designed as per regulatory requirements and Group policies.You will report into the General Manager, Crew Lead for the Real Time Payments & PaaS Crew.Do work that matters:You will lead and define the product vision, goals and roadmap. You will lead the end-to-end development of the product roadmap ensuring maximum output and quality from the squad. You will apply domain expertise to support prioritisation and successful achievement of business and squad objectives. You will build an API-based service that provides a market leading customer experience in line with our strategic goals.Responsibilities:Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.Act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team.Drive project exploration and inception to ensure alignment of product strategy.Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/ business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap.Lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.Maintain a healthy prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.Manage multiple senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.Release prototype and iterate a product that meets customer needs and achieves the Crew’s goals.Qualifications & Experience required?:Proven Product Owner experience providing a Service through API based channels, to both internal and external customers and/or within the Payments Domain.Prior experience as a Product Manager/Programme Manager/Project Manager in above initiative spaces would also be considered.Payments Domain experience and knowledge, Direct entry (DE) and/or New Payments Platform (NPP).Experience of delivering API services idealExperience in developing a Product Vision and the Product Roadmap to implement it.Are strong communicators, both Verbal and Written, with proven experience managing multiple stakeholders (including senior LT).Experience…
