Product Support Engineer

What are we looking for?

An integral team member who is the key interface for product technical support for our HME/mining products. Liaising with a range of local and international stakeholders, you are someone who combines technical, communication and problem-solving skills. Domestic and international travel is required for this role.

About the Role:

• Field technical support to dealers and customers as a technical POC
• Quality assurance and verification or parts, products, and assemblies
• SME for product development and reliability improvement support
• SME for Workshop Troubleshooting, Assessment, Test and Assembly of parts and assemblies.
• Develop and Update Valenhold Rebuild Procedures.
• Technical review on warranty claims.
• Working with internal and external engineering teams
• Provide Supply Chain with technical support
• Develop and Update technical publications and documentation including smart forms
• Technical reporting as required for the roles listed above
• Technical Support to BDMs

About You:

• Relevant degree or trade experience in a mechanical discipline required
• Experience in HME or mining industry will be well regarded, however we believe in transferable skills, and the right attitude is more important to us than specific industry knowledge which can be taught
• Excellent written communication skills for technical report writing is required
• Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building skills is required
• Team player who puts our clients and outcomes first
• Ability to work independently to deliver on tasks/milestones
• Flexible in your approach and willing to get in and get the job done
• You will bring with you hard skills in Office 365 applications.

Location: Based in Tingalpa, with free onsite parking

Hours: Permanent full-time -38 hours p/w M-F
