What you'll be doing
  • Working in the Pharmacy dispensary with the support and guidance of the Pharmacy dispensary team leader.
  • Coordinating and providing guidance/support to the operations of the Pharmacy dispensary and to Pharmacy Production Services for CCLHD. This includes (but is not limited to): aseptic manufacture; non-sterile production; extemporaneous manufacture with required quality assurance activities associated with these tasks. This role will also responsible for ensuring CCLHD complies with PD2023_021 Preparation of pharmaceutical and advanced therapeutic products.
  • Within the areas of the Pharmacy dispensary and associated pharmacy production related service, contribute regularly to review and authoring of organisational and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines, and/or significant contribution to quality assurance activities, and/or participation in organisational/institutional committees relevant to the profession, and/or participation in research and publication.
  • Providing pharmacy services to Medical Day Unit (Gosford) including sterile manufacture, review/dispensing of medications required and complying with PBS requirements.
  • Providing direct support to Grade 1 and Intern Pharmacists and supervise Pharmacy students when allocated. Provide support and work collaboratively with Pharmacy Grade 3 Production Technician
