Production Assistant / Yard Hand

Telford Industries and Sigma Chemicals are seeking physically fit people to join our expanding Kewdale team.

We are a leading chemical manufacturer and wholesaler with over 50 years of experience in the industry.  Our team is committed to providing our customers with professional, efficient and reliable service.

Working hours are between 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday.  

The Role:

• Chlorine and other chemical decants
• Sorting, checking and labelling drums
• General Yard Hand / labouring as required
• Housekeeping

Qualifications:

• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks
• Strong communication skills. 
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Police Clearance.

Desirable:

• Experience working as a Yard Hand
• Experience working with Dangerous Goods
• Forklift license
