Our client, located in Campbellfield, is Australia’s largest hot-dip galvanizing company and leader in protective metal coatings. We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to work in their fast paced plant. The successful application would be required to work day shift.
About The Job
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will ensure seamless servicing of customers from the initial order to the finished product.
- Ideally you will have Customer Service in a production environment
- Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise between customers and the operations team determine completion dates of orders
- Update customers with information regarding the progress of their orders
- Data entry and maintain pricing lists
- Provide accurate quotes to customers
- Support sales initiatives to grow the business
- Additional administrative support as required
About You
- Experience within a manufacturing and/ or distribution environment highly advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent Customer Service skills and mindset with exceptional communication skills
- Process oriented with a high attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed administrative processes and work unsupervised
- Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Minimum 2 years exp in Customer service/admin preferred.
