Form of workAn opportunity has arisen for experienced Ancillary Operator's at Northern Star Resources' KCGM Site, the Fimiston Superpit.
Reporting to the Mining Open Pit Supervisor, the Ancillary Operator's will efficiently conduct Ancillary and All Round activities in the Fimiston Open Pit (Superpit) to ensure that production targets are achieved in a timely and safe manner within the guidelines of statutory requirements and NSR-KCGM standards.
This residential position is an even time 7 on, 7 off roster, working 12.5-hour shifts, days and nights.
The successful candidate must possess the following attributes:
Essential
- A minimum of five (5) years' operation of various large production mining machinery in an open pit mining or quarry environment.
- Minimum two (2) years, all-round experience on a variety of heavy mining machinery, eg loaders, excavators, water trucks, haul trucks, dozer.
- Strong understanding of mining sequence process and activities.
- Good computer literacy with the ability to use integrated management systems, spreadsheet applications and word processing software.
- Exposure to a range of workplace safety systems.
- Must reside locally in the Goldfields region, or willing to relocate for this residential role.
- National Police Clearance (valid within last 12 months).
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence.
Preferred
- Dispatching experience.
- Current Quarry Managers Certificate
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian "MR" Class Drivers Licence.
