SalaryWe are a West Australian Company making and selling medical products worldwide. An opportunity in the company's Malaga based production facility has arisen.
The purpose of the role is assisting with the production of the company's specialised medical device products. The role will require autonomous work.
If successful in the role, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the company's sophisticated production robotic equipment to ensure products are made to agreed specification.
- Problem solving of equipment failure to ensure production continuity.
- Assist in maintenance of all production equipment.
- Perform regular QC of products to ensure they are being produced to specification.
- Monitor and troubleshoot processing problems.
- Ensure production schedule requirements are being met.
- Testing contact lens equipment with a view to continuous improvement from a design and operational point of view.
- Studying and analysing the root causes of breakdowns and help to minimise them to increase the equipment efficiency and meeting the production schedules on time.
The hours of work for this position will be principally Monday to Friday.
Salary for this position will start between $70,000 and $80,000.
Skills needed:
- Mechanically minded.
- Degree in Engineering
- Good problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail & highly organised.
- 2 years experience in Manufacturing.
- Experience in medical devices or contact lenses highly regarded.
- Knowledge of GMP
- Excellent record keeping abilities
- High level of initiative
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously is critical.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
The work is conducted in a clean environment in a well-established company with friendly staff.
