The Role

Production Floor Supervisor is responsible for effectively managing, in conjunction with the Production Manager, the functions associated with the Production Floor in order to meet the safety, operational, quality and production output/cost objectives. This is a full-time position. Reporting to the Production Manager this role will play a critical part in leading a processing team, while continuing the uplift of operational performance of processing areas at Kinross. Offering company perks and a competitive hourly rate, this role is located at our Grading facility in Kinglake West.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Leading the Production team to maximise shift hours (including setup, daily meetings, changeovers, breaks and shutdowns)

• Ensuring adherence to any quality system procedures and controls

• Liaise with the Maintenance Team, Sores Team and Quality Team 

• Shift report on downtime by category, safety and/or quality issues

• Working to the agreed schedule and responsible for schedule adherence

• Perform role back up for other members of the team when needed.

• Other related duties as required.
