Fulton Hogan's Southeast Queensland Production Department is looking for an Asphalt Plant Foreman to join our growing team. The appointee will be self-motivated, have a keen interest in production and will work closely with the Asphalt Production team to promote and build our business.
Previous experience in a production environment with asphalt is highly desired but not crucial. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Knowledge of industry related standards and specifications.
- Carrying out plant inspection check lists and maintenance.
- Collaborating with the production team to coordinate daily operations and optimise productivity.
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and resolving operational issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of production and equipment maintenance.
- Initiating and communicating ideas that improve efficiency, reduce waste and costs.
- Actively participate in preventative maintenance, toolbox discussions and safety meetings.
- Understand asphalt fixed plant production and maintenance.
- Familiarity with plant control systems and computerised equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to maintain an energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic work ethic.
- Have strong safety and environmental awareness.
