Production Labourer / Forklift Operator

Our key Client, a leading National supplier of galvanized steel to the construction industry located in Pinkenba, are seeking hard-working, reliable Production labourers to join the team.

These positions will see you working Monday to Friday ongoing casual roster with overtime available. 

Day shift rate of $32.46 & Afternoon Shift rate of $37.33 - With Forklift Ticket

This will be an ongoing role for the right candidate. Your commitment to the position is extremely important, and we will value reliability, attendance, and good attitude above all.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Wiring steel products to jig in preparation for galvanising
• General factory duties
• Dressing/Fettling of galvanised steel using grinders, hand files etc.
• Strapping, packing steel ready for customer pick up/dispatch
• Repetitive movements and manual handling of steel

To be successful for this role you will need to have the following:

• Be physically fit and have no movement or lifting restrictions
• Be comfortable working with large scale machinery 
• Be willing to do some overtime
• Be committed to full-time hours
• Have good English speaking and comprehension
• Forklift Ticket
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Be safety-conscious
• Have a can-do attitude!
