ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to internal promotion we’re now on the hunt for a Production/ Logistics Administrator star to join our growing team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager. 

The Production/Logistics Administrator role is a hands - on, collaborative and varied role, with some of the key responsibilities including: 

  • Co-ordinating with all suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
  • Assisting in raising purchase orders with suppliers (including supporting documents with all production requirements – labelling, carton markings etc) and receiving inventory.
  • Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to co-ordinate freight bookings and consolidate shipments where necessary.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure all necessary documentation is available prior to shipment arrival.
  • Management of key production and shipping documents
  • Track and monitor shipments
  • Handling, receiving and dispatching stock in inventory software for oversea warehouses.
  • Provide clear and timely notification of shortages or delays and their potential impact to clients.
  • Serve as the focal point of contact for clients and manage supply issue resolution.
  • Liaising with internal Customs and Import departments with the scheduling of deliveries between our third-party logistics providers and our company warehouse.
  • Reasonable additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Updating & maintaining master files.
  • Assisting in reconciling supplier Proforma Invoices against PO’s in NetSuite

ABOUT YOU

You are a team player, who knows how to help and communicate. You are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and you consider yourself a true problem solver. You’re resilient, efficient, incredibly organised and know how to prioritise your time effectively. Oh, and ideally, you’ll have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • An understanding of import shipping documentation and administration.
  • Computer literacy incl. Word, Excel, NetSuite experience would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent computer, numeracy skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Commercial understanding and business acumen.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Work autonomously
  • Excellent time management skills
