About The Role:We have opportunities available for Permanent work on:
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday (3.00pm to 11.00pm)
- Night Shift: Starting Monday Night (11.00pm) & finishing Saturday Morning (7.00am)
These are permanent shifts and do not rotate.
Our production / manufacturing teams are critical to our Fawkner Plant meeting our customer’s requirements.
Our people operate our manufacturing machinery and provide general support to our production lines.
These are all-rounder roles and we’re looking for people who can work as a team and roll their sleeves up to make a real difference to our site.
Key Job Responsibilities:The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Working in a safe manner and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
- Perform all aspects of machine operation tasks, such as start-ups / operation / change overs ect, as well as other general production support / packing.
- Adhering to Engineering ISO9002 Quality Assurance system and Food Environmental Policy requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following characteristics:
- Experience in a production / manufacturing environment (food industry exposure would be an advantage).
- Good mechanical aptitude, as these roles will be operating machinery.
- Flexibility and ability to perform all production tasks, which includes packing.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work in a team or unsupervised.
- Have good fault finding and communication skills.
- Able to work with a focus on Health, Safety and Quality.
- Have a good understanding in Lean & TPM.
