Production Operator | Fixed Plant Machine Operator | Shift | Full Time

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in Fixed Plant Machine operation, preferably in a manufacturing environment, be adaptable, self-motivated, have the desire to reach their goals, and who can work effectively with others to achieve great results. 

Your duties will include:

• A commitment to safety and environmental practices.
• Operating high-speed production machines on a continuous line.
• Accurate recording of information for quality control.
• Reaching production targets in a number of key areas.
• Continued learning and development.

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum of 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to reach and exceed set goals; both individual and organisational.
• Experience in Fixed Plant Machine operation (high speed preferable).
• Proven ability to work safely and effectively within a team.
• Proven ability to adhere to and knowledge of quality standards relevant to the position.

Desired Criteria:

• Food manufacturing or general manufacturing experience highly desirable
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• A commitment to on-going learning and training development
• Previous experience with quality control and data-recording.

Essential Requirements:

• A current High-Risk Forklift Licence.
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Current Drivers License.
• Physically fit and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to complete a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical, including a drug and alcohol screening with the company’s provider.

Our Neerabup plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you will be required to work on a continuous rotating roster of 2 days, 2 nights, and 4 days off (12-hour shifts). This rotation includes working some weekends and public holidays. The hourly rate is inclusive of all penalties as well as other generous EBA benefits. We provide internal training on equipment and processes and Nationally recognised certified training programs to assist you achieve your career goals.
