SalaryAbout The RoleWhitehaven Coal have an opportunity for a Production Superintendent at Maules Creek. The Superintendent is accountable for leading load and haul production, ensuring alignment of mining operations, activities and tasks within business plans. This role involves working a 8/6 day shift only roster.
What You'll Do
Ensure efficient and productive deployment of production resources
Support the Operations Manager with systems, people and behaviour management to achieve optimum mine productivity
Identify improvements of mine and equipment performance, procedures and practices
Provide direction, support and coaching to operations employees and contractors
Manage aspects of costs associated with load and haul operations
What You'll Bring
Mining Supervisor (OCE) or National Supervisor (SI, SII, SIII) competency
Significant mining experience including supervision of mining activities
Superior skills in process analysis with a strong systems-based approach.
Live local to the area (Gunnedah, NSW) or willingness to relocate (assistance provided)
