THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our team on a Full-Time basis (24-hour Plant- Rotating Roster in a12h shift, 4 days on/4 days off). This opportunity will come with training and development opportunities to kickstart your career.
The key responsibilities of this role will be to:
- Lead our dedicated team of Production Operators in the production of Gyprock, Cornice, Plasters & Compounds products.
- Ensure that all employees are working within the safety requirements of their roles, raising hazards and reporting incidents.
- Ensure quality monitoring requirements are met and within specifications.
- Process improvement initiatives implemented.
- Manage personnel on shift including rostering and training.
- Minimise plant downtime and maximise efficiency (during delays, changeovers & maintenance days).
- Co-ordinate's after-hours maintenance call outs
- Monthly toolbox meetings covering all manufacturing employees.
- All reporting requirements completed on time.
- Maintenance work requests raised and followed up on.
- Follow up on any issues raised on previous shift.
- Responsible for gypsum shipments into the shed.
