We have an opportunity for an experienced and passionate Baking Production Supervisor to join our Tip Top Team based at our site in Canning Vale. Reporting to the Production Manager, in this role you will coach and develop the team to deliver production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Purpose of the Role
* Responsible for leading the production team to ensure efficient, successful and safe operation of product and minimisation of waste
* Build a culture where people act like owners to deliver business goals
* Consistently provide open and honest, candid feedback ‘in the moment', recognising people for doing great work, and addressing performance issues early
* Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done, along with high support and high challenge
* Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment
* Collaborate with the supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and make necessary amendments to the production plan
* Ensure strict food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to
* Support change and foster an environment where change is embraced
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven leadership experience.
* FMCG or other fast paced production/manufacturing experience would be highly regarded.
* Experience in Baking or Baking qualification preferable.
* Extensive problem-solving skills - experience with root cause analysis.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
