The role:
The role of the Production Supervisor is to lead the floor supervisors and production team in achieving the daily production plan, ensuring that the team stays on schedule and achieves the desired outcomes. This role has the responsibility of maintaining our HACCP, AQIS and Management systems. In addition, this role will drive sustainable processes that improve the culture, environment, team performance and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train and motivate a medium-sized team.
- Work with other supervisors to ensure daily planned production can be achieved
- Ensure compliance to all seafood regulatory and legislative requirements such as HACCP, OH&S and DAFF.
- Implement a training matrix.
- Implement any new controls established by the Production Manager to ensure the highest standards are met.
- Strong and effective communication skills, ensuring clear expectations are set with the production team
- Review, recommend and implement changes to systems, processes, and procedures to ensure optimum outcomes and continuous improvements.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

To be successful in your application we are looking for:
- Food Science, Technology degree - essential
- Excellent computer skills. - essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food processing – desirable
- Previous experience in a supervisory role – desirable
- Previous experience in maintaining HACCP, OH&S, SQF, lean manufacturing & DAFF systems – desirable
