Production Technician

Electro Optic Systems (EOS) is currently searching for a casual Production Technician to join our supply chain team.

About the role

The Skilled Production Technician is a member of the Supply Chain team is a member of the Warehouse Team and is required to assemble and/or test various Mechanical, Electrical and Opto-mechanical products in a safe and efficient manner as per the specified MPI’s (Manufacturing Process Instructions).  

Primary Duties: 

• Understand the production schedule.
• Warehouse duties including pick, pack, ship, forklift operations and crate assembly.
• Assemble, modify, and inspect assemblies and finished product in accordance with established quality, operation standards and manufacturing process instructions to meet Production Targets. 
• Follow directions and processes to complete daily production activities.
• Reference technical documentation to complete daily Production tasks.
• Complete relevant documentation to ensure traceability and accountability, i.e. Job Cards, Level 2 Test Documents etc on a timely basis. 
• Monitor and report any quality issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. 
• Monitor and report any WHS or security issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. 
• Any other duties as required by the Warehouse Supervisor. 
• Van deliveries between Hume and Queanbeyan.
