Whether you're physically fit and up for some manual handling or prefer tasks that require great attention to detail and dexterity, we have roles that might be a perfect fit for you.
Production Workers (Operators)
Role Overview:
- Shifts Available: Day Shift (6:00 - 14:00) and Afternoon Shift (8:00 -16:00).
- Tasks: As a Production Worker, your responsibilities may include various tasks such as filling plastic moulds with curd, transferring cheese from plastic moulds to wire racks, salting, washing, maturation work, packing cheese, housekeeping to "5S" standards, and more.
- Physical Demands: This role involves continuous walking, standing, reaching, bending, and twisting, with both heavy and light manual handling. You may be required to handle weights from less than 1 kg to 20 kgs.
Packers
Role Overview:
- Shifts Available: Day Shift (6:00 - 15:00) and Afternoon Shift (15:00 - 23:00).
- Tasks: As a Packer, you will be involved in tasks such as cutting, feeding, and packing wedges of cheese, manually applying labels, boxing, palletising, and stacking formed boxes ready for pack.
- Physical Demands: This role involves less manual handling, with no lifting, but it requires excellent attention to detail and dexterity.
Additional Information:
- Shift Flexibility: We have a variety of shifts available, including 07:00 - 15:00 and 15:00-22:00. You must be prepared to start with good availability for ad hoc or short notice shifts. Exceptional performers will have the opportunity to be added to the weekly roster on-site.
- Work Flexibility: We need workers to cover both production and packing roles to provide greater flexibility in rostering.
