Due to volume of work we are currently seeking a motivated, technically minded Extrusion Production Worker for our plastics extrusion team at our main manufacturing plant in Neerabup. Hours are currently full time with overtime as required, (details on shifts and hours below).

Main duties will include but not be limited to:
- Machine set up, monitoring machine operation, adjustment, cleaning and lubrication
- Operating machinery used in the production process and complete product changes
- Monitoring production and product parameters throughout processing and perform sampling and/or testing
- Completing jobs on time and to required quality standards
- Complying with all health, safety and quality requirements
Working Hours:
- Working three rotating shifts: Monday – Friday, Day shift – 8.00am to 4.00pm – Night shift – 12.00pm to 8.00am, Afternoon shift – 4.00pm until 12.00pm. (Shift allowance's provided on top of hourly rate)
- Working Weekends on three rotating shifts as available
- Overtime as per production requirements
The Role
Ideally you will have worked in a process/production environment previously and be familiar with process driven work. Along with that you will need to have experience in following areas:-
- Manufacturing
- Mechanical aptitude
- Rotating shift work
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Quality control aptitude and strong safety awareness
- Capable of lifting 25 kg and be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Competent in measuring equipment
- Reliable mode of transport
- Having a current LF forklift ticket is necessary
Basic written communication and numeracy skills are essential for this position.
Due to the physical requirements of the role, prior to commencing applicants will need to undergo a full medical including a drug/alcohol screen.
