We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Education Support Aide to provide classroom support for our primary-aged students with academic support needs. The successful candidate will join our dedicated Learning Support team in the Junior School and contribute to the provision of quality educational services by supporting teachers in the delivery of differentiated learning activities.
Commencing in Term 2 2024, this permanent position will work from 8.00am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
The successful candidate will be passionate about assisting and participating in activities that improve the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of students.
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience working in a classroom setting
- Demonstrated ability to relate to primary aged boys
- Experience in the management of ASD
- Strong ICT skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability work well as part of a team
- Emotional maturity and empathy
- Integration Aide or teaching qualifications, and a strong interest and/or experience in learning support are essential
